ISSUANCE OF REPLACEMENT BALLOTS TO OVERSEAS VOTERS APPEARING IN PERSON
Further to Advisories BN-2022-009 on VOTERS WITHOUT ADDRESSES and BN–2022-010 on BALLOTS RETURNED TO THE EMBASSY, Filipino Overseas Voters (FOV) who have not yet received their voting packets, have the option to come to the Embassy to collect the voting packet and accomplish their ballots on-premise and return their ballots via the designated ballot drop box.
To facilitate the claiming of the electoral packet, FOVs are required to bring their current/valid Philippine passport.
- For FOV who have no address or have changed their address, you will be required to accomplish the OVF-1 form and provide a proof of address so that the COMELEC can update the voting record when the registration period resumes;
- For FOV who have been sent voting packets but have not yet received their ballots, you will be required to execute an Affidavit at the Embassy
The Embassy will be open to the voting public from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including Saturday and Sunday, 07 and 08 May 2022, to allow for FOV to vote on Embassy premises, and will continue to receive ballots until 12:59 PM on Monday, 09 May 2022.
