The Philippine Embassy wishes to announce the cancellation of the consular mobile outreach in Munich scheduled on 03 September 2016 to give time for the Embassy to address problems encountered in the biometric capturing using the new E-Passport System.
For those who have already set appointments, please be guided by the following:
1. The Embassy shall advise the public once a new date for the outreach has been identified.
2. Filipinos whose passports have expired are requested to proceed directly to the Philippine Embassy, located at Kurfürstendamm 194, 10707 Berlin, for passport data capturing.
3. Filipinos with passports that have at least nine (9) months before its date of expiry may:
· proceed to the Philippine Embassy in Berlin for data capturing, or
· request for an extension of the validity of their passport. The Philippine Embassy will consider extending the validity of the soon-to-expire passport by up to two years. Passports may be sent to the Embassy by registered mail, provided that payment of 18.00 Euros be sent by bank transfer and a return envelope with sufficient stamps for registered mail (Einschreiben) is provided.
