UPDATED ADVISORY ON VISA ISSUANCE

Consistent with the resolutions promulgated by the IATF Resolution No. 128, the suspension of visa issuance is partially lifted in accordance with the following measures:


Beginning 01 August 2021, foreign spouse, parent/s and/or minor children of Filipino citizens only, not traveling with said Filipino citizens but are joining them in the Philippines, may be issued 9(a) visas without need for an Entry Exemption Document (EED), subject to compliance with the visa requirements; (This applies to foreign nationals from visa-free countries)


Beginning 01 August 2021, eligible foreign workers may be issued 9(g) and 47(a)(2) visas as long as the respective visa authority from the Bureau of Immigration (BI) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) would have been secured. Applications should be directly filed by the Philippine-based employer with the BI or the DOJ as the case may be.

GENERAL ARRIVAL PROTOCOLS

All arriving passengers are kindly advised to be guided by the following:


• Mandatory quarantine for 14 days shall be completed;
• International passengers shall be required to undergo a facility or hotel quarantine for ten (10) days upon arrival;
• Testing will be done on Day 7, with Day 1 being the date of arrival/check-in;
• International passengers may continue their quarantine at home or in their hotels (as the case may be) from Day 11 up to Day 14, provided they get a negative RT-PCR test result.

PER IATF-136-B DATED 03 SEPTEMBER 2021

American Samoa, Anguilla, Australia, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Chad, China, Comoros, Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Gabon, Grenada, Hong Kong SAR, Hungary, Mali, Federated States of Micronesia, Montserrat, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niger, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Poland, Saba, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Sierra Leone, Sint Eustatius, Slovakia, Taiwan

International arriving passengers to the Philippines, regardless of point of entry, need only undergo a seven (7)-day facility-based quarantine and Reverse Transcription - Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) testing on the fifth (5th) day, with the day of arrival being the first day, only if all the following conditions are met, subject to the definitions provided in IATF Resolutions 128-A and IATF Resolutions 136-B:


1. Their port of origin is a Green List country/jurisdiction/territory;

2. They stayed exclusively in Green List countries/jurisdictions/territories in the last fourteen (14) days prior to their arrival in the Philippines.

3. They are fully vaccinated, whether in the Philippines or abroad;
4. Their vaccination status can be independently verified/confirmed by Philippine authorities as valid and authentic upon their arrival in the country.
