The Philippine Embassy Consular Team from Berlin and volunteers from the Filipino Catholic Church Community of Hamburg and members of the Mindanao Solid Group.
The Philippine Embassy in Berlin, composed of Atty. Amor P. de Asis-Del Mundo, Mr. Ruben C. Atienza, Ms. Maria Cecilia G. Estrella, Ms. Nelma Jose-Casas and Mr. Melchor D. Francisco conducted a mobile consular outreach service in Hamburg on 11 March 2017. The Embassy team was supported by the Filipino Catholic Church Community of Hamburg, headed by Fr. Simon Boiser, and the Mindanao Solid Group-Hamburg headed by Ms. Juliet Felgentreff.
Using a pre-registration system, the consular team provided a total of 62 consular services, which included 54 E-passport applications. The team was also able to register 41 applicants for overseas voting.
The consular mission in Hamburg was the first for the year. At least seven more consular services will be conducted in various locations as part of the Philippine Embassy’s continuing efforts to bring its consular services closer to Filipinos residing in the more distant locations of Germany. (END)
