The Philippine Embassy Consular Team composed of Vice Consul Marie Cris Chieng, Mr. Michael Salazar, Ms. Rowena Hernandez, Ms. Mylah Rubio and Mr. Elvin Jay Alejandro, conducted a mobile consular outreach service in Munich on November 17.
The event was hosted by Consul Stefan Detig, a.h., the Philippine Honorary Consul in Bavaria. Members of the soon-to-open Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt (PCG Frankfurt) composed of Deputy Consul General Emil Fernandez, Ms. Lolita Cabansag, and Mr. Michael Dayrit also participated in the consular outreach. Frankfurt PCG will have jurisdiction over the State of Bavaria once it opens.
The team facilitated a total of 47 e-passport applications, authentication, notarials and civil registry transactions. Services were mainly for overseas Filipinos residing in the German states of Bayern and Baden-Württemberg.
The mobile outreach is part of the Philippine Embassy’s efforts to bring its consular services closer to Filipinos residing in different parts of Germany. END
