SUBJECT: USE OF QR CODE SYSTEM AT NAIA
All travelers proceeding to the Philippines and arriving at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) are advised that the NAIA will be implementing the QR Code System in accomplishing the Case Investigation Form (CIF) of the Department of Health (DOH) subject of Advisory No. 21 dated 13 May 2020.
Arriving travelers at NAIA are encouraged to register and fill-out the electronic Case Investigation Form (e-CIF) to secure their own QR Code prior to their scheduled arrival in NAIA. The QR Code will help fast-track health processing protocols at the airport.
The e-CIF and QR Code may be secured and accomplished by following the steps below:
- Open your internet browser and go to https://e-cif.redcross.org.ph/.
- Fill out the form then click Submit.
- Save the QR Code on your mobile phone or tablet or by taking a screenshot or printing out a copy of the QR Code.
- Present the QR Code upon health assessment for the RT-PCR Testing for COVID-19 at the airport.
In relation to health protocols upon arrival in the Philippines, a list of quarantine facilities inspected by the DOH-Bureau of Quarantine as of 23 October 2020 may be accessed via http://quarantine.doh.gov.ph/facilities-inspected-as-of-october-23-2020/
