Philippine Embassy Holds Consular Mobile Outreach  in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg

The Philippine Embassy in Berlin, composed of Consul Adrian Cruz, Mr. Ruben Atienza, Ms. Mylah Rubio, Ms. Maria Cecilia Estrella and Mr. Armand Mahinay conducted a mobile consular outreach service in Ulm on 17 October 2016.  The Embassy team was supported by the Filipino Catholic Church Community of Ulm, headed by Ms. Lyn Schebesta. “East Meets West” Training Camp  Brings Modern Arnis Grandmasters to Germany

Dortmund.  In this year’s biggest gathering of Arnis practitioners in Europe, almost 200 students of Modern Arnis trained in Dortmund from 23 – 25 September under Modern Arnis Grandmasters from the Philippines, Germany and the United States.  The aptly named “East Meets West” Modern Arnis Training Camp was organized by the German Arnis Association (Deutscher Arnis Verband).  The DAV is the largest Arnis association in Germany with a 2,500-strong membership.
