Ms. Charlotte Gödicke: In Remembrance of The Beloved German Daughter of Sagay

BERLIN.  Ambassador Maria Cleofe Natividad flew into Manila from Berlin last August bearing the remains of Ms. Charlotte Gödicke, an educator from Osterholtz, Lower Saxony, Germany, who helped inspire the community of Sagay City to achieve sustainable livelihoods through the Sagay-Osterholz Partnership. PHILIPPINES-GERMANY SIGN DOUBLE TAXATION AGREEMENT

Berlin.  Secretary Cesar V. Purisima, on behalf of the Philippine government, signed the Philippines-Germany Double Taxation Agreement (DTA) at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin.  The updated Double Taxation Agreement will further spur the Philippines’ burgeoning economic relationship with Germany by reducing the tax burden of Filipino and German investors.
