Shortly after 6 pm today, shots were heard at a shopping mall in the Olympic Stadium…resulting to 9 dead and about 20 hurt. The official identification of these casualties has not yet been released by the police and we are monitoring this. The police has also reported that as of this time, it cannot be officially said that the event was a terroristic act. However, all police and authorities are on alert stand-by and are investigating the event. The Government has stated that it will do all it can so that Germany remains safe and protected. This is the latest as of 23:42 today. The Munich police has advised all to stay home and I am sure this has been heard by our kababayans in Munich and the State of Bavaria. I reiterate this advisory and request our kababayans to do so. We continually pray for peace and protection and advise all to keep calm.
