Online Condolence Book – Former Secretary of Foreign Affairs Roberto R. Romulo

The Philippine Embassy in Germany condoles with the family of former DFA Secretary Roberto R. Romulo who passed away last 23 January.

Secretary Romulo served as Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union Institutions (1989- 1992), and later as Secretary of Foreign Affairs (1992 – 1995).

With these and numerous other accomplishments, he will be fondly recalled by the women and men of the Department of Foreign Affairs as a statesman that upheld the ideals of excellence in the conduct of diplomacy.

DEVELOPMENT POLICY RESEARCH MONTH

Per Malacañang Proclamation No. 247 dated 2 September 2002, the month of September of every year is designated as Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) to promote and draw nationwide importance of policy research in the formulation of national development plans, projects, and policies.

The Philippine Embassy in Berlin joins the nation in celebrating the DEVELOPMENT POLICY RESEARCH MONTH with a theme: “Reset and Rebuild for a Better Philippines in the Post-Pandemic World”

Consular Outreach in Hamburg

The Embassy is pleased to announce that it will be conducting a mobile consular outreach in Hamburg, Germany scheduled on Saturday, 18 September 2021.

The conduct of the outreach, however, will also be dependent on the possible re-imposition of restrictions due to the spread of the Covid19 Delta variant.

Applicants are to note the following:

  1. NO WALK-INS. No appointment, no entry. Please wait for the email from the Embassy for additional information;
  2. NO PROOF NO ENTRY. Proof of full vaccination or negative proof of COVID-19 will be required from applicants age 7 and above;
  3. NO ESCORTS ARE ALLOWED. Only the applicant will be allowed to enter the premises. Minors and people who require assistance are allowed one escort only.
  4. NO EARLIER THAN 15 MINUTES. Applicants are encouraged to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment to avoid crowding.

Bewerber haben folgendes zu beachten:

  1. KEINE WALK-INS. Kein Termin, kein Eintritt. Bitte warten Sie auf die EMail der Botschaft für weitere Informationen;
  2. KEIN NACHWEIS KEIN EINTRAG. Von Antragstellern ab 7 Jahren ist ein Nachweis über eine vollständige Impfung oder ein negativer Nachweis von COVID-19 erforderlich;
  3. KEINE ESCORTS. Nur der Antragsteller darf das Gelände betreten. Minderjährige und Personen, die Hilfe benötigen, dürfen nur eine Begleitperson haben.
  4. NICHT FRÜHER ALS 15 MINUTEN. Bewerbern wird empfohlen, nicht früher als 15 Minuten vor dem vereinbarten Termin zu erscheinen, um eine Überfüllung zu vermeiden.
