Procurement Entities Purporting to be Agents of the Philippine Government

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

 

Re:  Procurement Entities Purporting to be Agents of the Philippine Government

            The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the public about the unlawful and fraudulent activities being committed by the following entities which are disguising themselves as agents authorized to conduct procurement and bidding processes for the Philippine government:

  1. Philippines Project Award Commission (PPAC);
  2. Project Award Commission Board;
  3. Links Global Consulting;
  4. Champions Court Global Business Agency.

Investigation is ongoing and a case has been filed by the Department of Trade and Industry with the National Bureau of Investigation against the people behind the scheme.  The public is informed not to deal with any of these entities and, if approached, to report them immediately to the Philippine Embassy.

THIS IS TO WARN THE PUBLIC OF ONLINE TRANSACTIONS INVOLVING ENTITIES REPRESENTING THEMSELVES AS THE “CENTRAL PROCUREMENT AGENCY OF THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT” OR AS AN “INDEPENDENT CONTRACTING AUTHORITY SADDLED WITH THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PROCUREMENT OF GOODS AND SERVICES ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT.”

THE PHILIPPINE DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY HAS ALREADY ISSUED A WARNING TO THE PUBLIC INVOLVING TRANSACTIONS WITH THE “PHILIPPINES PROJECT AWARD COMMISSION, CHAMPS COURT AND CHAMPIONS COURT BUSINESS CONSULTING AGENCY SERVICES OR ANY COMPANY REPRESENTED BY MR. CRESENTE N. ABALOS.”

THE GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT POLICY BOARD (GPPB), THE PH GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING RA 9184 (GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT REFORM ACT) HAS ALSO ISSUED A WARNING AGAINST UNSCRUPULOUS INDIVIDUALS OR ENTITIES USING THE NAME OF GPPB OFFICIALS AND PERSONNEL, INCLUDING OFFICIAL LOGOS, FOR PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL GAIN.

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ENGAGING WITH ANY THIRD PARTY ENTITY ALLEGING TO BE AUTHORIZED TO PROCURE GOODS AND SERVICES ON BEHALF OF THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT.

PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL, FRANKFURT AM MAIN

 

The Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt am Main is scheduled to reopen in the third or fourth quarter of 2018. In this regard, applications are invited for the following local hire (contractual) positions:

TRANSLATOR / INTERPRETER

Minimum Qualifications:

  • German citizenship/residency;
  • University/college degree, preferably in translation studies/linguistics or related discipline;
  • English proficiency, as shown by IELTS/TOEFL or related certificate;
  • Relevant work experience an advantage.

DRIVER

Minimum Qualifications:

  • German citizenship/residency;
  • Possession of German driver’s license;
  • At least 2 years of recent professional driving experience, preferably in Frankfurt a.M./Hessen.

ÜBERSETZER / DOLMETSCHER

Mindestvoraussetzungen:

  • Deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft/Aufenthaltsgenehmigung;
  • Universitätsabschluss, vorzugsweise als Übersetzer/Sprachwissenschaftler oder in einer verwandten Disziplin;
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse, nachgewiesen z. B. durch ein IELTS/TOEFL oder ähnliches Zertifikat;
  • Relevante Berufserfahrung ist von Vorteil

 

FAHRER

Mindestvoraussetzungen:

  • Deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft/Aufenthaltsgenehmigung;
  • Deutscher Führerschein;
  • Mindestens zwei Jahre Erfahrung als Berufskraftfahrer in der jüngeren Vergangenheit, vorzugsweise in Frankfurt a.M./Hessen
