Philippine Embassy adopts new E-Passport system in consular outreach missions in different cities in Germany.
The Philippine Embassy in Berlin successfully captured and recorded the passport biometrics of overseas Filipinos using the new E-PASSPORT (APO) system in three simultaneous mobile outreaches held this July 2016. The Special Ballot Reception and Custody Group (SBRCG) of the Philippine Embassy in Berlin reported to the DFA-Overseas Voting Secretariat that it has received more than 1,000 ballot envelopes for the 2016 Philippine Presidential Elections during the first week of the month-long overseas voting period.
