On the occasion of the 154th Birthday of Philippine National Hero Jose Rizal, the Philippine Embassy in Berlin hosted kaffeetrinken and a lecture, “Following the Footsteps of Pepe” by Gerhard Müller of the Knights of Rizal. The Diplomatic Choir of Berlin, in their 21 May benefit concert at western Berlin´s most historic landmark, the Kaiser-Wilhem-Gedächtnis-Kirche, expressed its appreciation to the Philippine Embassy for being their “home”.
