Queer Muslim experience took center stage at the third session of the AklaTamBayan living library series of the Philippine Embassy in Berlin held on 21 October 2019, with a screening of the short documentary Lupah Sug, about LGBTQ+ Muslims in Mindanao. The activity was part of the Embassy’s Gender and Development (GAD) program. PHILIPPINE EMBASSY PROVIDES MORALE AND CARBO BOOST TO FILIPINO BERLIN MARATHON RUNNERS

Filipino participants of the 2019 Berlin Marathon got a morale and carbo boost from the Philippine Embassy in Berlin last September 28, the eve of the much-awaited elite sporting event. Over 50 Filipino runners from the Philippines, the US, and the Middle East enjoyed a carbohydrate-rich Filipino dinner at the Embassy with old friends and new acquaintances.
